- Leave tables now adapt more effectively to smaller screen resolutions.
2. Enhanced scrolling experience
- Horizontal scrolling remains available when tables contain more columns than can fit on screen.
- Users can scroll horizontally without needing to navigate to the bottom of the table first.
3. Improved table usability
- Table headers remain clearly associated with visible data when scrolling.
- Existing sorting, filtering and record management functionality continues to operate as expected.
4. Accessible Add Unavailability action
- Users can now access the Add Unavailability button without requiring horizontal or vertical scrolling on supported laptop screen sizes.
Benefits

- Approvers
- Primary Reasons
- Rosters
- Statuses
Saved preferences are linked to the individual user account.
Automatically reapply saved filters
- Saved filter selections are automatically restored when returning to Manage Leave.
- Preferences persist across sessions, including after logging out and back in.
- Temporary filter changes can still be made without overwriting saved preferences.
Benefits

- Improves productivity for regular leave approvers and administrators, who can create and save views to show requests that require their specific attention.
- Provides a more personalised leave management experience.
Enhanced Non-Resident On-Call (NROC) Calculations
This release improves the way working time is calculated for Non-Resident On-Call (NROC) duties across rotas and rosters.
Previously, NHS at Work did not support NROC shifts with no resident period. The system has been updated to accommodate this requirement, and to calculate warnings and violations using the correct calculation for NROC expected working time.
Key functionality
NROC working time is now calculated using: Resident Working Time + Estimated Call-Out Time
- Multi-day NROC duties are handled correctly.
- NROC shifts are no longer automatically treated as fully worked where valid NROC details exist.
- The same calculation logic is now used across:
- Rota validation
- Roster validation
- Updated calculations are applied to working time checks including:
- 48-hour average weekly working time
- 72 hours worked within any 168-hour period
Benefits
- More accurate working time calculations.
- Improved compliance monitoring.
- Consistent validation across rotas and rosters.
