We are pleased to share the release of Liaison Link Mobile Version 8.1, which includes the following enhancements:
UserPilot Enhanced In-App Guidance
We're introducing the foundations of UserPilot into the Roster experience to support more personalised and intuitive in-app experiences. It enables smarter guidance, timely feature prompts, and a better understanding of how users interact with the app so we can continue improving it. These changes happen quietly in the background and do not affect daily use but pave the way for more helpful in-app support in the future.
Improved Split Shift Display
We've improved how split shifts with longer activity names are displayed throughout the app.
Longer shift descriptions are now intelligently truncated to maintain a clean interface while still allowing users to access the full activity name when viewing shift details.
Benefits:
- Better support for longer activity names.
- Improved readability across roster views.
- Cleaner and more consistent shift display.
Prevent Mobile Access for Leavers
To improve security and ensure mobile access reflects employment status, users whose leaving date has passed will no longer be able to access Roster functionality through the mobile app. Users with access to both Roster and TempRE will continue to access TempRE, whilst Roster functionality will automatically be removed once their leaving date has passed. Users with access to multiple organisations will continue to access organisations where they remain active.
Benefits
- Improved security and governance.
- Automatic removal of Roster access for inactive users.
- Continued access to active organisations and products where applicable.
